      PEFINDO provides credit quality ratings (PCR) on mutual funds that indicate the probability of default by emphasizing a fund’s underlying portfolio credit risk profile. PCR only applies to fixed income and money market mutual funds.

      A rating analysis on a mutual fund involves an in-depth review of its portfolio, including unsolicited rating analysis on aspects of the portfolio not rated by PEFINDO. It will also include a thorough assessment of the fund manager’s overall creditworthiness by analyzing its business growth and sustainability, investment policy and practice, as well as the capability and track record of its key personnel.
